That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charieos Bizihwaeile.

Baratheon has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Trevion doesn't defend quickly enough and Baratheon has managed to lock this one up! Can Trevion escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Baratheon on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Pettis. That's going to slow Stolgichenko down.
Pettis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stolgichenko.
Stolgichenko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pettis throws out a counter right but Stolgichenko avoids it with no problem.
Pettis lands a nice hook to Stolgichenko's body. Stolgichenko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Some wild striking there from Stolgichenko.
Pettis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stolgichenko.
Stolgichenko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pettis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Pettis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stolgichenko manages to avoid it.
No joy there for Stolgichenko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pettis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pettis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Michael Pettis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pettis bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Stolgichenko is breathing heavily.

Pettis lands a big head kick that sends Stolgichenko tumbling to the mat! Pettis takes a step backwards and waves Stolgichenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Stolgichenko is rocked!
Stolgichenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pettis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oh Stolgichenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stolgichenko glances at the clock... BAM! Pettis nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Stolgichenko crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Stolgichenko is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Michael Pettis was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
