LePuc has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Marcelo tries to close the distance and clinch but Doyea swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Arod Doyea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doyea rushes Marcelo and presses him up against the cage.
Doyea lands a left hand that snaps the head of Marcelo backwards.
Marcelo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Marcelo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Marcelo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Doyea can't fight it off and eventually Marcelo manages to take the fight to the floor. Doyea looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
