0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Callaghan! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Callaghan looks to land a right hand but Kennedy moved out of range. Callaghan misses the body punch and Kennedy counters with a stiff right hand. Kennedy lands a big right hand that sends Callaghan crashing to the mat! Kennedy stays standing though and waves Callaghan back to his feet!
Callaghan is rocked! Kennedy lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Callaghan up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Kennedy from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Callaghan's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jaymore Kennedy! A very excited looking Jaymore Kennedy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kedson Linhares! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Linhares with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cormier to score with a decent uppercut. Linhares is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cormier stuffs the takedown attempt from Linhares. Linhares gets slowly back to his feet. Linhares has Cormier up against the cage in a clinch.
Cormier misses with a punch to the body.
Linhares tries to work over Cormier's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Cormier slows down the pace here.
Cormier lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Linhares wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cormier pressing his opponent against the cage. Linhares breaks from the clinch.
Jon Cormier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cormier scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Linhares doesn't seem bothered though. Cormier connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Linhares's hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cormier fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Cormier throws a leg kick which misses Linhares's front leg but catches the back leg as Linhares tries to avoid it. Cormier leaves Linhares with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cormier throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cormier. Linhares closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Cormier lands an elbow that stopped Linhares in his tracks for a moment. Linhares wants to break free but Cormier has control.
Cormier throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Cormier pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Cormier. Cormier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Cormier lands a nice hook to Linhares's body. Linhares takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Cormier lands with a nice body punch. Linhares shoots in but Cormier avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jon Cormier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kedson Linhares.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cormier avoids the head kick by Linhares.

Cormier gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cormier avoiding damage.
Linhares is looking to break free of the clinch but Cormier has double underhooks. Cormier breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Linhares throws a nice looking combination but Cormier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cormier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Linhares moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Linhares closes the distance and clinches. Cormier breaks from the clinch.

and Linhares counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Linhares avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cormier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Linhares defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cormier looking to control.
Cormier is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cormier wants to control but Linhares passes easily into half guard.

Cormier makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Linhares closes the distance and clinches. Linhares has Cormier pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cormier manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cormier breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jon Cormier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cormier clinches up against the cage. Cormier misses with a body punch.

Linhares pushes Cormier up against the cage in a clinch. Cormier is trying to break the clinch but Linhares has him pressed against the cage. Linhares manages to break the clinch.
Cormier lands a jab. Cormier slaps away a takedown attempt from Linhares, before circling back to the center of the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Linhares shoots for a double leg takedown but Cormier sprawls well. He's pushed Linhares's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Linhares or perhaps it was just good defense by Cormier, which made it look bad. Linhares shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Linhares was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Cormier dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Cormier lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Linhares backwards. Cormier goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Jon Cormier is winning the standup battle so far. Cormier misses with a two punch combination.
Cormier is looking to clinch. Linhares tries to counter with a clinch but Cormier shakes him off and moves away. Linhares fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cormier throws a body shot but no joy. Cormier dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Linhares. Cormier misses with a body shot.
Linhares has a takedown stuffed. Linhares is breathing heavily. Linhares keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Linhares on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Linhares ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nice straight punches there by Cormier. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cormier. Cormier lands a two punch combo.
Linhares is rocked! Cormier clinches up against the cage. Linhares is still on wobbly legs! Can Cormier finish him? A short right from Cormier. Cormier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Linhares doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cormier is looking to wear down Linhares with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Linhares gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Cormier gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parzystopa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Khan counters with a straight right hand. Parzystopa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Khan moves into the clinch. Parzystopa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Khan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Parzystopa can't get the takedown.
Shao Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugeniusz Parzystopa. Parzystopa tries for a takedown. No joy.
Khan manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Khan. Khan's corner calls for a 1-2. Khan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Khan has Parzystopa up against the cage in a clinch.
Khan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Parzystopa drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Khan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Parzystopa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. That's two minutes gone in the round. The Money Shot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gradascevic. The Money Shot throws a fast counter high kick but Gradascevic manages to duck under it in time. The Money Shot throws a head kick that half lands.
Gradascevic drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gradascevic missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gradascevic forces his way into half guard. Gradascevic looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Gradascevic trying to mount his opponent but The Money Shot defends it. The Money Shot avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gradascevic. The Money Shot is looking for a sweep. Gradascevic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The Money Shot blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gradascevic.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gradascevic not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gradascevic missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The Money Shot tries to roll over but Gradascevic keeps him under control. Gradascevic working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Gradascevic landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The Money Shot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gradascevic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gradascevic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gradascevic works his foot free and advances to mount. The Money Shot in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gradascevic cracks The Money Shot with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gradascevic pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gradascevic is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. The Money Shot can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gradascevic fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gradascevic moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, The Money Shot has worked his arm free - good work by The Money Shot!
Gradascevic cracks The Money Shot with an elbow. That is naaassty. Sloppy strikes there by Gradascevic. Gradascevic has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Gradascevic fails with the takedown and The Money Shot counters with a lovely straight right hand! Gradascevic tries to score a power double leg takedown but The Money Shot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gradascevic somewhat. Despite the aggression on The Money Shot's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Husejn Gradascevic dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The Money Shot is staying active underneath Gradascevic, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gradascevic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gradascevic throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Gradascevic stands and steps away. The Money Shot gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood forces Marley back against the cage and clinches. Wood stops a takedown attempt from Marley.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Bader. Bader throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Diaz counters with a shoot takedown. Bader fights it but they end up in guard. Diaz showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Diaz prevents Bader from getting back to his feet. Diaz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bader's head. Diaz controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bader has momentary wrist control but Diaz slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bader is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Diaz presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Bader escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bader throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Timo Bader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bader throws a body punch but Diaz moves out of range. Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bader misses with a hook. Diaz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bader. Diaz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bader to the mat! Bader manages to get full guard. Bader is looking to stand up but Diaz isn't so interested in that idea. Diaz landing with the ground and pound.
