The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

McDonalds throws a low kick but it's checked well by Anderson.

Anderson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Anderson pushes off an throws an elbow but McDonalds leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
McDonalds tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Fitts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarge Dela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitts comes into the arena with Alice In Chains - No Excuses blaring out of the sound system. Dela has chosen BLUNT- The Iron Maiden as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
