The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rumblebelly pushes Gomez up against the cage in a clinch.
Gomez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rumblebelly pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Gomez manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Gomez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rumblebelly is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gomez to the mat. Gomez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've been hearing that Rumblebelly has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Gomez is looking to stand up but Rumblebelly isn't so interested in that idea.
Gomez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Avatar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is For Heavy Metal we will die!.
