With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Genghis Khan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Zing!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zing loads up on a big right hand but Khan slips the punch.
A little feinted left hand from Khan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Zing drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Matt Zing has been cut.
Zing swings widly with a right hand
and Khan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Matt Zing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan lands a body shot.
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zing.
Zing swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Khan was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Zing throws a body shot but no joy.
Khan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Khan blocks a jab.
Khan lands a nice hook to Zing's body. Zing takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Khan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Zing's hands.

Khan darts in and clinches Zing up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zing takes a shot to the head.
A short right from Khan.
That has opened up Matt Zing's cut even more.
Khan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A right hook to the body lands for Khan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan lands a nice uppercut.
Khan digs a right hand underneath Zing's ribcage. Zing let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A shot in the inside from Khan.
Khan lands with a right to the head.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Zing's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Zing is rocked!
Khan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Zing with a big uppercut! Zing tries to clinch up but Khan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Zing to the mat! Zing covers up and Khan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Genghis Khan!
