The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Idowu misses.
Irwin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Idowu motions for Irwin to come forward. Idowu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Irwin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Idowu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Irwin.

Idowu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Irwin engages and cracks Idowu with a massive lead left hook - Idowu tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Irwin is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Garcia slips a straight right by Isador.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Isador throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Isador throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Isador ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Garcia moves away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Garcia throws out a counter right but Isador avoids it with no problem.

Isador was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Isador looks to score with a jab to the body but Garcia is just out of range.
