The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexyev moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Alexyev has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Alexyev misses with a body kick.
Rider uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alexyev.
Rider throws a front kick that sends Alexyev stumbling back into the cage.
Rider throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Ilya Alexyev has been cut.
Alexyev moves in looking to clinch but Rider pushes him off.
Alexyev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Alexyev takes a jab right on the kisser.
Whack! Rider lands a heavy head kick that drops Alexyev. The ref tackles Rider to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Alexyev was done.

Bare is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
The Hun throws a hook but Bare blocks it.

The Hun has managed to clinch.
The Hun misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The Hun stalls.
A body shot lands from The Hun.
The Hun lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short uppercut from The Hun.
The Hun lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bare backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bare jumps guard and drags The Hun to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The Hun wants to stand but Bare is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Hun trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The Hun has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bare can do anything to dispel that myth.

The Hun cracks Bare with an uppercut from hell and Bare crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of The Hun's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The Hun tries to stand but Bare is controlling from the bottom.

Bare seems to have recovered his senses.

Bare stops The Hun from standing up.
Bare postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The Hun will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bare stands up from The Hun's guard - Bare perhaps looking for a knockout.

The Hun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from The Hun.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The Hun scores with a nice hook to the head.
The Hun lands with a short shot to the head.
The Hun working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

The Hun lands a hook that snaps the head of Bare backwards.
The Hun will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bare up against the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Still in the clinch, The Hun scores with a nice short uppercut.
The Hun dips a shoulder and cracks Bare with a mighty uppercut! Bare falls back against the cage and The Hun unloads with a barrage of strikes! Bare is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - The Hun screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
