Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergio Vargas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Custer! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Custer throws an off balance right hand
and Vargas counters with a nice uppercut. Custer throws a push kick but Vargas slaps the foot to one side. Custer scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Custer misses with a straight left. Vargas throwing a counter right hand but Custer manages to avoid it. Vargas takes a shot right to the bread basket. Custer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Vargas takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Custer throws a body punch but Vargas moves out of range. Vargas throws a quick counter head kick but Custer was just out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Custer misses the target. Custer clobbers Vargas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Custer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Custer scores with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Custer scores with a jab to the body. Custer changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Custer throws a jab but it's blocked by Vargas. Custer explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Custer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Vargas takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nice shot by Custer. Custer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Custer misses with a hook
and Custer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A nice inside leg kick there by Custer. That's going to slow Vargas down. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vargas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Custer - the referee stops the clock and Vargas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Custer. Vargas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Custer cracks Vargas with a right hand to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vargas takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Vargas is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Custer scores with a kick to the midsection. Oh Vargas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Vargas is breathing heavily. Vargas has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Custer. Custer cracks Vargas with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li takes the fight into the clinch. Li pushes off an throws an elbow but Saiyan Prince leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Li lands an elbow that stopped Saiyan Prince in his tracks for a moment. Saiyan Prince misses with the head strike.
A head punch on the inside from Saiyan Prince fails to land. Saiyan Prince keeps control of Li as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Li has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Saiyan Prince keeps control of Li as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Li escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Li rushes Saiyan Prince and presses him up against the ropes. Saiyan Prince lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes. Saiyan Prince lands a left hand.
Saiyan Prince tries to throw a body punch but Li avoids it by throwing Saiyan Prince back against the ropes. A head punch on the inside from Saiyan Prince fails to land. Li breaks the clinch.
Saiyan Prince tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Li was well out of range. Poor timing from Saiyan Prince. Li unleashes a big counter combination but Saiyan Prince bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Saiyan Prince sizes up Li with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. It looks like Wong Li has been cut. A nice inside leg kick there by Saiyan Prince. That's going to slow Li down. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Li avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Saiyan Prince smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. That kick from Saiyan Prince tenderised Li's leg. Li is trying to keep his angry face on. Li is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Li fails with an attempt to clinch.

Li on the wrong end of a nice hook. Li is rocked! Li walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John moves out of range as Diaz strikes. Diaz misses the shot to the body. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Diaz. John shrugs it off though. Diaz looks to throw a body kick and John counters with a good low kick that Diaz was not able to check. Diaz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
John throws a big counter combination but Diaz scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. John ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. John jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Diaz throws a body kick that misses. Diaz lands with a thumping leg kick.
John definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Diaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. John tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Diaz counters with a body kick that stops John in his tracks momentarily. John throws a low kick but it's checked well by Diaz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A jab from Diaz does it's job there. Diaz lands with a nice body kick. Diaz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. John tries to clinch up. Diaz misses with the body kick and John holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Diaz misses with a punch on the inside.
Diaz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
John takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Diaz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and John has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A little jabbing left from Diaz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. John lands with a nice combination. Diaz backs away looking to recover. John rushes Diaz and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. John blocks a body shot from Diaz. John tries to stall but Diaz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

John blocks a jab. John throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Diaz explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.

John throws a counter high kick but Diaz was just alert enough to avoid it. Diaz throws a body shot but no joy. Good work by John as he checks the leg kick. Diaz looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Diaz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! John fails with an attempt to clinch.

John crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in John's bad books for that mishap!

Penn Jr tries to work over Jeudy's front leg with a kick but Jeudy checks it. Jeudy tries to counter by clinching up but Penn Jr breaks away and moves out of range. Jeudy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Razor Sharp Training Systems in the buildup to the fight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jeudy, as that shot connected.

Jeudy takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Scorpion throws a jab when Roy was well out of range. A big right from Scorpion misses. It seemed like Roy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Scorpion uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Roy. Roy dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Roy swings for the body but Scorpion moves out of range.
