With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drax Bautista! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Suarez! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bautista swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bautista looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Suarez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Suarez throws a big right hand that misses. Bautista keeping moving, preventing Suarez from controlling successfully. Suarez pushes down on Bautista's leg and manages to get into half guard. Suarez content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suarez thows a huge punch but Bautista dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suarez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bautista's head. Bautista on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bautista tries to get out of the position. Bautista is looking for a sweep. Suarez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Suarez is working for a submission of some sort.
Bautista knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suarez on the ground. Suarez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Suarez working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Bautista tries to roll over but Suarez keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Suarez stalling away here and it's allowed Bautista to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Suarez looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Suarez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Suarez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Suarez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bautista is trying to work for a sweep but Suarez has mounted him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suarez looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Suarez jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bautista manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bautista stops Suarez from passing to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bautista is looking to get back to his feet here but Suarez is keeping cool and he's managed to take Bautista's back. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Suarez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bautista manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bautista is trying to keep Suarez in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bautista prevents Suarez from taking his back. Suarez controlling the position easily from mount. Suarez throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bautista because Suarez loaded up on that one. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Felix Suarez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Bautista looks to land a left hand but Suarez moved out of range nicely. Suarez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A decent looking cross lands there for Bautista. A slow jab from Bautista misses its intended target. Suarez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bautista circles away. Bautista throws a shot from downtown. Suarez moves away and avoids it. Suarez shoots in but Bautista avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bautista throws the left hand but Suarez avoids the punch easily. Bautista gets caught flat footed, as Suarez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bautista keeping full guard, as Suarez tries to pass. Suarez wants to control from the top but Bautista keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suarez stopping the sweep attempt from Bautista.

Suarez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Suarez just content to control the position. Suarez passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bautista! Suarez has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Suarez looking to ground and pound but Bautista is blocking nicely. Bautista is desperately trying to improve his position but Suarez has a good base and remains in mount. Suarez trying to control but he's not successful this time. Suarez looking for a guillotine from mount but Bautista is having none of it.

Suarez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Suarez looking for a guillotine from mount but Bautista is having none of it. Suarez wants to finish this one by submission but Bautista is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Suarez. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Suarez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Widenose closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cosce did well to prevent Widenose getting side control. Widenose slows the pace down in half guard. Widenose's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Cosce avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Widenose. Cosce is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Project Training, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Widenose is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cosce blocking the ground and pound attempt from Widenose.
That's one minute gone in the round. Widenose sitting and controlling from the half guard. Widenose seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cosce is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aung Siang! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siang shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardrada tries to sprawl out of it but Siang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardrada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Siang lands a nice shot that snaps Hardrada's head back.
Siang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hardrada is looking to counter punch. Siang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Siang takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hardrada stuffs the takedown attempt from Siang. Siang gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Siang misses with a low kick. Hardrada throwing a counter right hand but Siang manages to avoid it. Siang slips a jab from Hardrada. We've been told by Hardrada's head coaches at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Siang misses the jab. Siang shoots and misses letting Hardrada counter with a right hand. Isak Hardrada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aung Siang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardrada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Siang tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hardrada sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Siang somewhat. Hardrada throwing a counter right hand but Siang manages to avoid it. Hardrada misses with a few strikes there.
Hardrada instigates a clinch. Siang drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hardrada pulls his leg out and moves away.
Siang looks for a takedown but Hardrada sprawls well. Hardrada appears to be looking for a big counter. Nice sprawl there from Hardrada as Siang shoots in. Siang swings widly with a right hand
and Hardrada counters with a crisp one two that drops Siang! Hardrada thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Siang to his feet! Siang is in big trouble! Siang is rocked! A clash of legs there as Hardrada blocks the low kick. Hardrada throwing a counter right hand but Siang manages to avoid it. Siang is still on wobbly legs! Can Hardrada finish him? Siang doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hardrada counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardrada checks a low kick from Siang. A little feinted left hand from Hardrada on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Siang throws a leg kick letting Hardrada counter with a right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Siang throws a leg kick and Hardrada counters with a crisp right that sends Siang to the canvas! Hardrada follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Isak Hardrada! After winning the bout, Isak Hardrada thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Kurosaki working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Kurosaki is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kallaste has escaped the position, nice work there. Kurosaki has hold of Kallaste's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kallaste seems comfortable defending it but Kurosaki has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kallaste is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kallaste is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kurosaki couldn't care less - he's delighted!

With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowalski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Abner.
Kowalski with the counter takedown but Abner avoids it easily. Abner scores with a hook to the body. Kowalski takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Abner gets caught flat footed, as Kowalski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Abner is wriggling around but Kowalski manages to pass to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kowalski connects with a nice short shot to Abner's temple. Kowalski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Abner pushes Kowalski off looking to stand but Kowalski dives back in and keeps control.
Kowalski controlling the action here. Abner tries to kick Kowalski off but Kowalski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Abner on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kowalski drops an elbow to the side of Abner's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kowalski is looking for a kimura but Abner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kowalski to get the leverage. Kowalski seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. It looks like Uncle Abner has been cut. Kowalski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kowalski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kowalski lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kowalski wants to pass to mount but Abner is defending the position. Kowalski passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Abner! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kowalski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Abner is rocked! Uncle Abner's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Uncle Abner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quaach gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alexander to score an easy takedown into full guard. Alexander tries to free his leg and advance position but Quaach is retaining full guard. Alexander keeps trying to improve his position. Alexander working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Alexander looking to pass the guard. Quaach avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Quaach has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alexander stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quaach swivels though and keeps the full guard. Alexander is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Alexander throwing strikes from guard but Quaach blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quaach utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Alexander's corner is telling him to maintain position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Quaach misses with a straight right. Alexander has his takedown stuffed and Alexander takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Alexander swings widly with a right hand
and Quaach counters with a nice uppercut. Alexander throws a poor cross that misses
and Quaach makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Alexander changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Quaach looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alexander controlling from the full mount. Alexander throws some wild stikes that Quaach manages to avoid easily.

Alexander breaks from Quaach's wrist control and lands an elbow. My spies in Beasties inform me that Alexander has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Poor strikes thrown by Alexander there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ultimate Warrior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Torn Brot! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brot takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Warrior swats away the attempt to clinch by Brot. Warrior drops down looking for a counter takedown but Brot sprawls and moves away. The fighters circle momentarily. Brot darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Warrior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Brot connects with a nice looking jab.
Brot moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Brot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance.
