Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Solomons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Plowman! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solomons fails to land the takedown. Nice cross by Plowman. It looks like Arthur Solomons has been cut. Plowman throws a big shot that misses. Plowman throws a body punch but Solomons moves out of range. Solomons rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Plowman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Plowman loads up on a big right hand but Solomons slips the punch. Solomons misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Plowman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Plowman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Plowman throws a body punch but Solomons moves out of range. Solomons appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Corey Plowman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Solomons swinging wildly here.
Solomons fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Plowman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Solomons. That's going to take a lot out of him. Solomons takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plowman lands with a good body shot. Plowman goes for a small jab and connects. Now Plowman goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Solomons stumbles back but Plowman runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Solomons to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Solomons will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

A very excited looking Corey Plowman made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thao's head backwards. Thao on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. White connects with a nice looking jab.

Thao looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Thao shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. White looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Thao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.

and White counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Thao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away. White appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Thao misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.
Nice cross by White. Nice shot by White. Thao is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Oh Thao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Thao is breathing heavily. White sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Thao's defenses. It connects perfectly with Thao's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James White! An out of breath James White thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. The defeated Bukmang Thao had this to say: 'I thought this was a Kickboxing bout. I did not expect submissions! I want to speak to the manager!'.

Luciano closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Luciano misses with the head strike.

Van Guile must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Van Guile won't allow Luciano to sweep him here. Van Guile avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

I think Van Guile should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Luciano has tightened it up now! Van Guile should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuslanovich doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Brandon Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fisher dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Yuslanovich drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fisher trying to remain calm as Yuslanovich controls from the top position. Yuslanovich scoring with punches from side control. Yuslanovich slows the pace down. Yuslanovich wants to take a breather but Fisher manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Yuslanovich. Yuslanovich is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Yuslanovich lands with a shot to the body. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fisher looks to land a right hand but Yuslanovich moved out of range. Fisher throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Fisher is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Yuslanovich shoots in for a takedown but Fisher shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Fisher darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Yuslanovich tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fisher swivels and escapes. Yuslanovich takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Horrible takedown attempt by Yuslanovich or perhaps it was just good defense by Fisher, which made it look bad. Brandon Fisher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleg Yuslanovich. Fisher moves out of range as Yuslanovich strikes. Yuslanovich thows a left - swing and a miss!

The fight stays on the outside here - Fisher looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Despite the aggression on Yuslanovich's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Brandon Fisher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fisher lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Yuslanovich at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Yan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bomb Jr tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Yan gets a clinch. Yan scores with an uppercut up the middle. I was talking to Bomb Jr's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A short right from Yan. Yan misses with a hook from the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Yan. Bomb Jr stalls. Yan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bomb Jr misses with a body punch.
Bomb Jr presses Yan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Nice body punch from Yan. Bomb Jr is looking to control Yan's arms but Yan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bomb Jr has his back to the cage. Bomb Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yan throws a front kick that sends Bomb Jr stumbling back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bomb Jr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. This has been an exciting period of action! Bomb Jr tries to work over Yan's front leg with a kick but Yan checks it. Yan follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Yan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bomb Jr manages to avoid it. A jab lands there for Yan. Bomb Jr looks to score with a jab to the body but Yan is just out of range. Jinjing Yan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Yan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Yan throws a push kick but Bomb Jr slaps the foot to one side. Bomb Jr closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bomb Jr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Bomb Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yan. Yan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jinjing Yan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Yan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Yan needs to keep his hands up - Bomb Jr had a free shot at his head there. Bomb Jr misses the body punch and Yan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bomb Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yan.

and Yan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. An inside leg kick lands from Yan. Bomb Jr sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Yan scores with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Yan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Yan throws a body shot but no joy. Yan scores with the left hand. Bomb Jr knows he should have avoided that one. Bomb Jr blocks a head kick by Yan.
Yan stuns Bomb Jr with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Yan lands a nice looking body shot.
Yan throws a wild body kick that Bomb Jr sees coming a mile off. Yan throws a body shot but no joy. And Bomb Jr counters with a quick kick to the body but Yan blocks it. Bomb Jr misses with an attempted mid kick.
Yan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bomb Jr takes a body punch but keeps moving. Yan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bomb Jr tries to score with a low kick but Yan moves his leg out of the way. Yan thuds a left hand into Bomb Jr's body. Yan thumps Bomb Jr with a low kick. Bomb Jr takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bomb Jr throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Bomb Jr moves out of range of the body kick. Yan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bomb Jr at a distance.
Jinjing Yan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bomb Jr avoids the body shot from Yan.
Yan is looking to clinch. Bomb Jr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Yan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
And that's the end of the fight! Jinjing Yan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Yan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We've been informed that Johnson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Lahti fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage. Johnson tries to break free but Lahti pushes him back against the cage.
