The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior shoots in looking for a takedown. Heart tries to sprawl out of it but Junior keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Heart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Junior defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Heart.
Junior throws a push kick but Heart slaps the foot to one side.
Heart drops down looking for a counter takedown but Junior sprawls and moves away.
Heart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Heart drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Junior gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Junior jumps guard and drags Heart to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Heart has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Junior is working away from the top position though.
Junior is taking a breather. Heart says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
