The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bro throws out a loose jab but Jacksson uses good head movement to avoid it. Bro slaps away a takedown attempt from Jacksson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bro stuffs the takedown attempt from Jacksson. Jacksson gets slowly back to his feet. Jacksson drives through with a takedown into guard. Jacksson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jacksson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jacksson pushing down on Bro's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bro is trying to get back to full guard. Bro tries to kick Jacksson off but Jacksson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jacksson passes the guard and advances to mount! Bro tries to buck Jacksson off but he can't manage it. Jacksson thowing shots but they're missing.

Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jacksson's face. Jacksson staggers backwards, shaken. Jacksson shoots in looking for a takedown. Bro tries to sprawl out of it but Jacksson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bro throws a nice head kick!
Bro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jacksson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bro tries to clinch but Jacksson moves out of range. Jacksson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bro throws a series of strikes that have Jacksson backpedaling.
It looks like Quintonn Jacksson has been cut. Shuvel Bro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jacksson shoots for a double leg takedown but Bro sprawls well. He's pushed Jacksson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Shuvel Bro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quintonn Jacksson. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bro lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Jacksson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bro breaks from the clinch.

Jacksson was covering up waiting for the punch and Bro finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jacksson has a closed guard, preventing Bro from standing up. Bro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bro wanted to stand there but Jacksson had control of the position. Jacksson wants to sweep here but Bro controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bro wants to control from the top but Jacksson keeps moving. Bro is looking to stand up but Jacksson won't let him.

One massive shot lands there and Simmons is out cold! Riley jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Popkin misses. Popkin throws a lazy right hand but Miller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Popkin with a body punch. A glancing blow. Miller lands a nice leg kick that just misses Popkin's sensitive parts. Nice shot by Popkin.
It looks like Heath Miller has been cut. Popkin digs a good body shot into Miller's ribs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Popkin waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Miller. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Miller to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Miller saw that one coming. Miller throws a right and a left that Popkin avoids nicely. Miller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Popkin circles away quickly and effectively. Popkin throws out a loose jab but Miller uses good head movement to avoid it. Popkin throws a one two combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Miller is chipping away with strikes.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Oh, that's a big right hand from Vitalenko and Dynamite goes tumbling to the canvas! Vitalenko follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Dynamite is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vitalenko thows a huge punch but Dynamite dodges it nicely.
Oh Dynamite is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Dynamite moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dynamite manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dynamite sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Dynamite controlling the position easily from mount. Dynamite's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Vitalenko wants to control but Dynamite is having none of it. Dynamite takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dynamite has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Vitalenko tries to hold on but Dynamite postures up. 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucien Smalls! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacKenzie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smalls moves out of range and avoids them all easily. MacKenzie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. MacKenzie tries to land a front kick but Smalls steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. MacKenzie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smalls tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but MacKenzie was well out of range. Poor timing from Smalls. MacKenzie fails with an attempt to clinch.
MacKenzie is looking to clinch. Jab by Smalls. A telegraphed right hand from Smalls misses the target. Smalls rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but MacKenzie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Smalls lands a straight punch to the body, keeping MacKenzie at a distance.
Smalls digs a good hook to MacKenzie's body.
MacKenzie on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Dynamo MacKenzie has been cut. Smalls misses with the combination.
Smalls buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Smalls throws a series of punches but MacKenzie moves out of range. MacKenzie takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. MacKenzie is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. MacKenzie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. MacKenzie on the wrong end of a nice hook. Smalls swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
MacKenzie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smalls scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Smalls works MacKenzie's body with a nice hook. MacKenzie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smalls.
MacKenzie is rocked! Donk. Smalls catches MacKenzie right on the button with a cross. Oh MacKenzie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Smalls lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. MacKenzie seems to have got his legs back now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smalls throws a leg kick which misses MacKenzie's front leg but catches the back leg as MacKenzie tries to avoid it. Smalls cracks the inside of MacKenzie's front leg. Smalls lunges at MacKenzie with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by MacKenzie's hand. Smalls misses with a kick to the body.
Smalls drops MacKenzie with a beautiful combination! MacKenzie stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smalls is looking for the KO! MacKenzie walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Smalls swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richlin throws a right and a left that both miss. A cross from Richlin lands.
It looks like Jeff Trujillo has been cut. Trujillo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Richlin drops Trujillo with a straight right hand, right on the button! Richlin follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hartin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Meldir as he avoids it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Hartin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Meldir fails with an attempt to clinch.
Meldir throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Meldir tries to clinch up so Hartin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hartin trying to control but Meldir is working from the bottom. Meldir working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hartin. Hartin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hartin tries to free his leg and advance position but Meldir is retaining full guard. Hartin trying to control but Meldir is working from the bottom. Meldir trying to keep a closed guard but Hartin is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hartin distracts Meldir with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hartin stands and throws Meldir's legs to the side, diving into side control. Meldir defending against the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hartin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Meldir is looking for a sweep. Hartin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Meldir is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hartin throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. You can see the frustration on Meldir's face as Hartin controls the position. Meldir is pushing Hartin's head away, looking to escape. Hartin manages to hold on to the position though. Hartin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Meldir to his feet. Hartin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eric Hartin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meldir wants to clinch. Hartin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hartin looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Meldir is staying active underneath Hartin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hartin stalling away here and it's allowed Meldir to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Hartin stands and throws Meldir's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hartin working the head and body with strikes. Meldir takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Hartin tries to score with some ground and pound. Meldir controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hartin controls the position. Hartin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Meldir on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Meldir bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hartin misses with a head kick.

Meldir creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Meldir tries to land knees in the clinch but Hartin avoids the damage to the body. Meldir gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hartin.

Hartin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Meldir pulls him back up using the underhooks. Meldir breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Meldir displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hartin. Hartin is breathing heavily. Meldir scores with a hook. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Meldir swats away the attempt to clinch by Hartin. Meldir has closed the distance and engaged Hartin in a clinch.
Hartin misses with a knee to the head. Meldir working some nice short punches in the clinch. Hartin looks to throw an elbow but misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Meldir smiles and moves away.

Hartin connects with a high kick. Meldir fails in his attempt to clinch. Hartin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hartin throws a head kick that half lands.
Meldir is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hartin closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Meldir out cold! Meldir corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Konrad. Young shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Konrad pinned against the cage. Konrad gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Konrad fails in his attempt to clinch. Young misses with a straight right. Young tries to bum rush Konrad with a series of wild strikes but Konrad uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Konrad fails in his attempt to clinch. Young will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Young throws an overhand right that lands on Konrad's shoulder, as Konrad tries to avoid the shot. Young connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Konrad momentarily.

Young cracks Konrad with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Evans but Evans pushes him off and we're back to square one. Evans throws a body kick that misses. Walker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Evans manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Walker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Evans really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Evans wants to stand up but Walker is controlling him. Walker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Walker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Walker stops Evans from standing up. Evans tries to land a sweep but no joy. Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evans swivels though and keeps the full guard. Walker with a flurry of punches that miss. Evans keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully. Evans will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. No luck for Walker with that takedown attempt. Walker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Greg Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Walker. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Walker. Walker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. No luck for Walker with that takedown attempt. Evans throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Evans lands a big uppercut and Walker crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Walker looks OK. Evans waves Walker back to his feet!
It looks like Nelson Walker has been cut. Walker looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Walker looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Evans is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Walker dives into side control.

Evans has his foot on Walker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walker works his way back into a safe position though. Walker stopping the sweep attempt from Evans. Walker wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving. Evans wants to hit a switch here but Walker passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Evans there! Evans defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Walker. Evans is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Evans can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Walker with the ground and pound from mount. Walker has hold of Evans's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Evans manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

You get the feeling that Evans really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Evans gets back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walker is trying to work for a kimura but Evans is defending well.
Walker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Evans pushes Walker off and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Evans is surviving well by controlling Walker's body position as best he can. Walker prevents Evans from getting the reversal. Walker with good strikes from the mount here!

Evans can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Evans keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully. Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Evans wants to get back to his feet but Walker is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walker wants to pass the guard but Evans is keeping the position. Evans keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Evans wants to stand and escape but Walker is having none of it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Walker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Evans's half guard. Evans wants to improve his position but Walker is controlling well.
Walker content to control rather than advance. Evans wants to get back to his feet. Walker is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Nelson Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Nelson Walker's cut. Evans is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. No joy there for Evans, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circling - Evans throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Walker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Evans to the mat! Evans manages to get full guard. Walker chips away with some ground and pound. Walker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Walker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Walker postures up in Evans's guard and throws a big left but Evans blocks it. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Walker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Walker is nestled in close to Evans, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Walker missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Evans looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Walker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Walker misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Walker lands a decent elbow from side control. Walker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Walker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Evans is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Evans is not content to let Walker control the position. Walker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Walker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
