The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baird looks to throw the jab but Yukinobu is out of range. Baird looks to land a right hand but Yukinobu moved out of range. Baird throws a hook but Yukinobu avoids it easily. Baird takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Yukinobu throws the kick towards the body but Baird avoids it. Yukinobu throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Yukinobu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Soviet Remnant. Well Remnant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. With a record of 28 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ultima Koivisto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Lynton Miller! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koivisto lands a really nice looking cross but Miller seems unphased.

Miller throws a lazy uppercut
letting Koivisto counter with a right hand. Koivisto on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Miller looks to land a right hand but Koivisto moved out of range. Koivisto throwing a counter right hand but Miller manages to avoid it. Miller connects with a nice looking jab.

Miller ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miller. Koivisto is looking to counter punch. Miller's jab looks to have found its range, popping Koivisto under the eye. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Koivisto keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Koivisto. Koivisto working for a triangle but Miller defends it easily.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Miller cracks Koivisto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Miller fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Koivisto is out of range. Koivisto takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lynton Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller lands a body shot.

Koivisto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miller - the referee stops the clock and Koivisto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miller. Koivisto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Miller throws a push kick but Koivisto slaps the foot to one side. A little feinted left hand from Koivisto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Miller gets off balance looking for a body kick and Koivisto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lynton Miller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Miller is taking a breather. Koivisto says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Miller working Koivisto over with strikes. Miller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lynton Miller has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miller keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Koivisto flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

And that's the end of the fight! Lynton Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mfer throws a head kick that misses and Stark counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Mfer kicks off Stark and gets to his feet. Mfer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stark counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stark with a flurry of punches that miss. Mfer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Stark tries to free his leg and advance position but Mfer is retaining full guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Mfer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stark defends it easily. Stark has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stark passes into half guard. Stark throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Poli fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Road is out of range. Poli throws a leg kick but Road moved away. Poli slips a straight right by Road. Road has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Road there as he acknowledges the shot. Poli keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Poli throws an overhand right that lands on Road's shoulder, as Road tries to avoid the shot. Raate Road seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poli displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Road throws out the jab. Poli swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Road scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Road misses with a hook. Poli looks to score with a jab to the body but Road is just out of range. Poli throws out a loose jab but Road uses good head movement to avoid it. Road has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Heavy Metal in the buildup to the fight. Road lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
