Valverde kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is LLAMAME YA. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minerva Wulf! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wulf gets a takedown into half guard. Valverde has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Wulf is on him like a limpet, forcing Valverde back against the cage. Wulf cracks Valverde with a nice body shot. Valverde can't break the clinch.
Valverde has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Wulf is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Valverde is defending well. Wulf misses with some punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cannabino throws out the jab. A nice side step and Macker releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Emporio Cannabino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cannabino throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Minnagh. Petrov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cressbeckler scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Cressbeckler throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Petrov is looking for the big counter here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cressbeckler throws a leg kick which misses Petrov's front leg but catches the back leg as Petrov tries to avoid it. Petrov has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Petrov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Petrov is still on wobbly legs! Can Cressbeckler finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Petrov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Cressbeckler lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Vasil Petrov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Joad Cressbeckler decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
