The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bino looking to score a takedown here. Castle is defending well but Bino drives through and ends up in Castle's guard.

Bino drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Castle manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bino has Castle in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castle throws a big elbow that misses.
Castle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Castle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bino is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bino can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bino is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bino tries to land a sweep but no joy.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Scott from any more punishment! Scott complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
