Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Draganov (ranked 2103 p4p, 1992 weight class) and Aung Siang (ranked 258 p4p, 247 weight class). Siang has chosen Wu Tang Clan - Bring da Ruckus as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Ivan Draganov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Draganov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aung Siang! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siang manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Draganov on his heels. He'll look to pass Draganov's guard now, I'm sure. Draganov pushes Siang off and scrambles back to his feet.
Siang darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Siang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Draganov is just riding it out for now. Siang eventually gives up the hold. Draganov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Siang works his way into full mount! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Draganov is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draganov tries to hold on but Siang pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Draganov blocking the ground and pound. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Siang working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Draganov wants to control but Siang is having none of it. Draganov is trying to escape the mount.
Siang jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Draganov manages to avoid the submission attempt. Draganov regains half guard. Siang sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Draganov defending well though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Siang is working for a kimura but Draganov is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draganov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Siang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Siang's back! Draganov struggling to keep hold of the position.
Siang avoids the strikes from Draganov. Draganov throwing wild punches that miss their target. Even with his hooks in, Draganov manages to miss with strikes from the back. Draganov scores with punches and elbows. Will Draganov go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Draganov doesn't have the hooks in and Siang manages to turn into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draganov wants to sweep here but Siang controlling him for the moment. Siang landing with the ground and pound. We've been hearing good reports from Draganov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Draganov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Siang tries to free his leg and advance position but Draganov is retaining full guard. Draganov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Siang's guard. Draganov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Draganov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Siang is proving hard to escape from. Draganov trying to control the position from guard on top but Siang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Siang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Siang keeping moving, preventing Draganov from controlling successfully. Draganov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Siang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Draganov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Draganov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Draganov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Draganov stands and steps away. Siang gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Siang throws a front kick aimed at Draganov's knee but Draganov avoids it well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Draganov will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Draganov lands a nice hook to Siang's body. Siang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Draganov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Siangs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Draganov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Siang can do to turn this around? Siang throws a leg kick that is checked and Draganov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Siang throws a nice outside leg kick. Siang shoots and misses and Draganov counters with a straight right hand. Draganov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Siang throws a leg kick and Draganov counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Siang thows a leg kick but Draganov checks it and Draganov counters with a stiff right hand. Siang misses with a body kick. Draganov misses with a few strikes there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Draganov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Siang.

Ivan Draganov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aung Siang. Siang tries for a takedown but Draganov circles away easily and Draganov counters with a head kick that drops Siang to the mat! Siang scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Siang is rocked! Draganov lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Siang - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Draganov!

With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lathem McGuire! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - McGuire coming out on top. Boma lands with a cross. Boma throws a leg kick which misses McGuire's front leg but catches the back leg as McGuire tries to avoid it. McGuire explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. McGuire looks to land a right hand but Boma moved out of range. McGuire scores with a shot to the body.
McGuire lands a big head kick that sends Boma tumbling to the mat! McGuire takes a step backwards and waves Boma back to his feet - he wants the finish! Boma is rocked! It looks like Norman Boma has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A nice leg kick from McGuire, right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Boma is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice body punch from McGuire. McGuire moves away from the strike by Boma. Boma seems to have got his legs back now. McGuire checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. McGuire only half commits to the counter leg kick. McGuire wants to clinch up but Boma keeps it at a distance. McGuire with the inside leg kick. Boma misses with a body shot.
Boma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boma throws a nice outside leg kick. Nice defenses there by Boma. McGuire jabbing away but nothing is landing. McGuire has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Boma misses the shot to the body. Boma tries to move into range but McGuire moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Boma seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. McGuire throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick from McGuire misses. Boma takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The crowd cheers as Boma lands an impressive looking overhand right. McGuire doesn't seem phased though. Boma throws a nice outside leg kick. McGuire looks to land a right hand but Boma moved out of range. As McGuire backs away, Boma returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. McGuire throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Boma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuire.

Boma takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Boma works the jab nicely. Boma lands a leg kick that knocks McGuire off balance momentarily. McGuire drops his hands momentarily and Boma takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. McGuire moves into range and connects with a jab. Lathem McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McGuire blocks a head kick by Boma.
Boma has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McGuire. Boma lands a leg kick that knocks McGuire off balance momentarily. McGuire misses with a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - McGuire looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A swing and a miss from McGuire. Boma is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Boma stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McGuire. Nice body punch from Boma. McGuire throws a head kick but Boma moves out of range.

That was a close round but Kwame Redcliffe did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Reed fails with a takedown attempt. A looping hook to the body misses from Redcliffe. Reed does a little dance to reset his feet. Redcliffe takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Redcliffe with the inside leg kick. Reed works over Redcliffe's head and body with a nice combination. Reed has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Reed jabs at Redcliffe's body. That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reed misses with a wild body shot. Redcliffe throws a push kick but Reed slaps the foot to one side. Redcliffe throws the kick towards the body but Reed avoids it. Reed is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. A nice leg kick lands there from Redcliffe. Reed takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Redcliffe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reed manages to avoid it. Redcliffe throws a front kick aimed at Reed's knee but Reed avoids it well. It seemed like Reed was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Reed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Redcliffe. Reed on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Redcliffe is looking to land body kicks. Redcliffe throws a low kick, looking for Reed's leg but Reed calmly moves out of range. Reed lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Reed let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Reed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Redcliffe circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Redcliffe goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reed looks to land a right hand but Redcliffe moved out of range. Redcliffe lands a glancing blow to the side of Reed's head. Redcliffe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Reed finds it's way round the side to connect with Redcliffe's head. A low kick from Redcliffe misses so Reed counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Reed trying to control but Redcliffe is working from the bottom. Redcliffe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Reed is pushing down on Redcliffe's leg trying to pass to half guard. Redcliffe is fighting to maintain full guard but Reed has managed to sneak the leg through. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Reed throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Reed looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Redcliffe won't allow Reed to pass to mount. Reed is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
