McDonnell cracks Cole with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cole tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McDonnell pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cole is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cadence Collins (ranked 1275 p4p, 2313 weight class) and Gilmat Kirk (ranked 146 p4p, 248 weight class). Kirk has chosen Lords of Iron as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Philips ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Philips counters with a low kick, right behind Kersikov 's knee.
Kersikov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Philips stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kersikov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
