Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rob Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Revazi Mindorashvili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown. Mindorashvili tries to sprawl out of it but Lewis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mindorashvili manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lewis shoots in but no luck this time. Mindorashvili showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lewis.

Lewis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mindorashvili. Mindorashvili keeps the fight on the outside. Lewis scores with a jab to the jaw. Lewis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mindorashvili stuffs the takedown.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mindorashvili is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kobayashi throws a push kick but Sensei slaps the foot to one side. Sensei throws a looping overhand right but Kobayashi ducks down to avoid it. Kobayashi wants to clinch and Sensei counters with a left to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kobayashi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kobayashi tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sensei cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kobayashi throws a half hearted mid kick. Sensei throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kobayashi.

Sthawy Sthowp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rampage lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sthowp throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rampage fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rampage throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sthowp on the side of the head. Sthowp lands with an uppercut that bounces Rampage off the cage and back into rage. Sthawy Sthowp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sthowp works Rampage's body with a nice hook. Sthowp throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rampage sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rampage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sthowp.
A big left from Rampage misses. Sthowp slips a straight right by Rampage. Sthowp throws an overhand right that lands on Rampage's shoulder, as Rampage tries to avoid the shot. Rampage on the wrong end of a nice jab. Rampage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sthowp.

Sthowp scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Rampage throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Rampage counters with a nice body shot. Sthowp smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sthowp throws a series of punches but Rampage avoids them all with ease. A cross from Sthowp lands. Rampage ducks under a wild hook from Sthowp. Rampage thows a left - swing and a miss! Sthowp throws a hook but Rampage avoids it easily. Rampage rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sthowp moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A glancing blow. Rampage is breathing heavily. Rampage walks into a left hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sthowp tests Rampage's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sthowp tests Rampage's chin there with a solid looking shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sthawy Sthowp dominated that round. That's time! Rampage's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rampage doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A jab from Sthowp finds it's way through Rampage's defenses. Sthowp lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rampage at a distance.

Charcoal pushes down on ittler's head and hops out. ittler fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary ittler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Charcoal lands with a cross.
ittler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Charcoal is looking to get to half guard. Charcoal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with ittler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Charcoal holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as ittler tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Hammer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cojo's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cojo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hammer defends well.
Cojo is looking for a triangle but Hammer pushes his legs off easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
