Slice closes the distance and pushes Soldic back into the cage.
Soldic wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Slice has him pressed against the cage.
Soldic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Soldic blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Soldic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slice smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Slice has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doom's Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Nice uppercut lands for Slice. That snapped Soldic's head back.

Van Thüringen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Prometheus throws a half hearted mid kick.
Van Thüringen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Prometheus walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Prometheus takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Prometheus throws a low kick but Van Thüringen moves out of range easily.
Balthasar Van Thüringen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Thüringen misses with a right hand
and Prometheus counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Balthasar Van Thüringen has been cut.
Prometheus takes a jab right on the kisser.
Van Thüringen throws a body punch but Prometheus moves out of range.
Van Thüringen swings for the body but Prometheus moves out of range.
It seemed like Prometheus was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Prometheus drops Van Thüringen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Van Thüringen looks back up at him and smiles so Prometheus waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A low kick lands for Van Thüringen.
Prometheus throws an overhand right that drops Van Thüringen like a sack of potatoes! Prometheus dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
