With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sour Diesel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Torbjørn Knudsvig! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diesel lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Sour Diesel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diesel throws a looping overhand right but Knudsvig ducks down to avoid it. Diesel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Diesel plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Diesel swings and misses with a shot to the body and Knudsvig connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A slapping body kick lands there for Knudsvig. Diesel throws a leg kick but Knudsvig checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knudsvig walks into a left hand. Knudsvig connects with an inside leg kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Diesel. That's going to slow Knudsvig down.

As Diesel backs off Knudsvig throws a huge counter combo but Diesel manages to avoid it all. Diesel doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Knudsvig uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Diesel. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Knudsvig! But no joy. Diesel misses with a combination
and Knudsvig cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Knudsvig has managed to clinch.

Diesel swings wildly with an uppercut but Knudsvig uses good head movement to avoid it. I was talking to Diesel's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Knudsvig scores with a nice hook to the head. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. A head punch blocked on the inside by Knudsvig. Knudsvig lands on the inside with an uppercut. Diesel can't find room to land a body shot as Knudsvig controls the action.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Creed Jr. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Creed Jr tries to bum rush Wahwah with a series of wild strikes but Wahwah uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wahwah feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Creed Jr sprawling to the canvas! Creed Jr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wahwah finish him?!

Wahwah is looking to counter punch. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wahwah, as that shot connected.

Wahwah thows a left - swing and a miss! Wahwah throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Creed Jr gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Wahwah gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Creed Jr is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hohol tries to clinch but Kelly is having none of it. Kelly swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kelly takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt and Kelly counters with a nice uppercut. Kelly tries to keep at a distance but Hohol has taken the fight into the clinch. Kelly can't find room to land a body shot as Hohol controls the action.
