The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanori tries to land a leg kick but Cao saw it coming and moves away.
Cao dives in and grabs Takanori's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takanori pushes down on Cao 's head and hops out.

and Takanori counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Shun Cao has been cut.
Cao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Takanori defends well and Cao ends up having to push Takanori into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Dickons throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dickons off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Dickons's closed guard. He's half up but Dickons has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Dickons pivots and extends the arm, King falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Dickons! Well done that man!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darrell Newsome!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamara ducks right into an uppercut from Newsome.
It looks like Tagnarach Kamara has been cut.
Newsome connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kamara momentarily.
Kamara feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Newsomes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
