McConnell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oystenteller as he avoids it easily.

McConnell goes for a double leg but Oystenteller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Oystenteller continues to drive forward.

and Wetton counters with a takedown into side control.

Wetton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wetton is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gunn's shoulder. That is not cool.

Wetton tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gunn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wetton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Petrosyan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fury is proving hard to escape from.
Fury pulls Petrosyan in close to prevent any damage.
Fury tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fury trying to keep a closed guard but Petrosyan is proving a slippery customer.

Fury working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Petrosyan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Petrosyan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Spades takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Spades throws a lazy right hand but Miller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Miller connects with a single shot there.
Donk. Miller catches Spades right on the button with a cross.

Spades closes the distance and clinches.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Miller lands with a left to the head.
Miller lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Spades backwards.
Miller managing to block the knees to the body from Spades.
Spades is struggling to control the position.
Miller tries to break the clinch but Spades is controlling the position.
Spades scores a nice knee to the body.
Spades jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Miller walks away with a smile on his face. Spades gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Spades tries to clinch but Miller moves out of range.

Spades clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spades had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miller defends it easily.

Miller has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Spades to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Miller is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Spades pulls down on the head and he's put Miller to sleep! This one is all over!
