The ref is looking closely - Roberts is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Roberts is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Kwondo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mann is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kwondo.

Kwondo is controlling Mann's trapped leg to prevent Mann from advancing to side control.
Mann is looking to take a break and control but Kwondo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kwondo looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mann can't hide his disappointment, as Kwondo celebrates the victory.

Krylov lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wagon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Krylov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wagon won't be happy with that.
Wagon wants to get back to his feet.
Krylov advances to full mount.

Krylov is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Wagon is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Wagon flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Krylov anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Wagon and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Krylov slips an arm under Wagon chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Krylov has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Krylov is squeezing on Wagon like an anaconda would it's prey. Wagon fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Natta wants to control but Man passes easily into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Stan Man will probably get the nod.
That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Natta has Man up against the cage in a clinch.
Man jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Natta walks away with a smile on his face. Man gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Man is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Natta has managed to free his arm - good work.
Man is trying to control the action in half guard but Natta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man is nestled in close to Natta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Man lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Man is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Natta has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Man is in a lot of trouble! Natta is straining to finish and he's done it! Man taps out! Amazing!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rantang Gustus!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustus gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Rantang Gustus has been cut.
Gustus shoots in for a takedown but McCoy shows good takedown defense.
McCoy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gustus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gustus tries to close the distance and clinch but McCoy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gustus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCoy as he avoids it easily.
Gustus misses with an uppercut.
Gustus takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gustus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McCoy finds it's way round the side to connect with Gustus's head.
Gustus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and McCoy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gustus! McCoy lets Gustus back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Gustus is rocked!
Gillechriosd McCoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rantang Gustus.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCoy swats away the attempt to clinch by Gustus.
Gustus swings widly with a right hand
and McCoy counters with a left to the body.
Gustus misses with a takedown attempt
and McCoy counters with a big right hand! Oh Gustus is in trouble here! McCoy follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Hall drives through with a takedown into Dayton 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hall tries to free his leg and advance position but Dayton is retaining full guard.

Dayton has his foot on Hall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hall works his way back into a safe position though.
Hall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dayton is keeping the position for now.
Dayton keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully.
Dayton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hall forces his way into half guard.
Dayton wants to improve his position but Hall is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall wants to pass to mount but Dayton is defending the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dayton stops Hall from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Hall moves to his opponent's back but Dayton bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Hall.
Dayton won't allow Hall to sweep him here.

Hall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dayton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hall wants to sweep but no luck.
Hall has momentary wrist control but Dayton slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hall looking for a sweep. Not yet Hall, not yet.

Dayton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hall wants to hit a sweep here but Dayton passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hall there!

Hall sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hall works his way to full guard. Good work.
Dayton slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hall tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Hall wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Dayton has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Hall's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Hall is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Dayton !
