1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cole Trane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, El Mariachi Zidlicky! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zidlicky tries a head kick but it misses.
Zidlicky wants to clinch. El Mariachi Zidlicky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trane moves into range and clinches up with Zidlicky. Trane has Zidlicky pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Trane pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Zidlicky tumbling to the mat - Trane dives into Zidlicky's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Zidlicky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Trane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trane postures up in Zidlicky's guard and throws a big left but Zidlicky blocks it. Trane drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Trane as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Zidlicky screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Trane! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kunkku throws a looping overhand right but Jedard ducks down to avoid it. Kunkku tries to clinch up. A big right from Kunkku misses. A jab from Kunkku misses. Jedard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kunkku stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jedard looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jedard is trying to work for a kimura but Kunkku is defending well.
Jedard is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Uzi looks for a takedown but Hantunen sprawls well. Uzi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hantunen finds it's way round the side to connect with Uzi's head. Uzi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Uzi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hantunen tries to avoid it but Uzi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hantunen to the ground. Hantunen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Uzi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hantunen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Uzi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hantunen has managed to get both his arms back between Uzi's legs - danger averted. Uzi is looking for a triangle here but Hantunen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

And that's the end of the fight! Mikko Hantunen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hantunen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prime drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drake is trying to control Prime's posture but Prime avoids it. Prime sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Drake is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
