Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dubson Strickland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cesar Arbeloa! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strickland stalks Arbeloa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Arbeloa's face. Arbeloa staggers backwards, shaken. It looks like Cesar Arbeloa has been cut. No luck with that takedown attempt from Arbeloa. Strickland drops Arbeloa with a beautiful combination! Arbeloa stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Strickland is looking for the KO! Cesar Arbeloa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Arbeloa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Strickland sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sloppy strikes from Strickland. Those never looked like landing. Arbeloa changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Strickland fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Strickland lands a left and a right that send Arbeloa crashing to the mat, dazed. Strickland thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Arbeloa is rocked! That has opened up Cesar Arbeloa's cut even more. Strickland Throws a clean left jab. Strickland Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Arbeloa's chin! Arbeloa crumbles to the ground and Strickland follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Strickland!

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brent Huffman! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huffman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. It looks like Justin Jones has been cut. Jones cracks Huffman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Huffman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Huffman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Huffman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position. Jones keeping moving, preventing Huffman from controlling successfully. Jones is pulling down on Huffman's head. It's preventing any offense from Huffman, at least for the moment. Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Huffman manages to get himself to full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Huffman looking for a sweep. Not yet Huffman, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Huffman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jones throws a big elbow that misses. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Huffman works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Huffman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones. Jones wants to get up but he can't break Huffman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jones controlling from the top position. Jones with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Huffman works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jones looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones landing with the ground and pound. Jones throws a big elbow that misses. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Huffman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones advances position into side control! Huffman holding on. Jones misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Huffman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The strikes coming from Jones are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control the position but Huffman is working away. Jones working the ground and pound. Jones lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The referee asks Jones politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jones prefers to stall for the moment though. Jones misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Huffman takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Huffman wants to control but Jones postures up. Jones happy to just control the position for now. Jones lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Huffman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones tries to advance to mount but Huffman denies him. Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huffman is not content to let Jones control the position. Jones works to advance to full mount. Huffman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Huffman is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Huffman is looking for the KO! Jones is rocked! Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huffman circles away quickly and effectively. Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Huffman throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Jones seems to have got his legs back now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Huffman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Huffman leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Huffman appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Huffman clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Jones looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Huffman misses with a few strikes there.
Jones seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Huffman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Huffman's guard. Huffman has his feet on Jones's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huffman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Huffman is breathing heavily. Jones scores with a hook to the body. Huffman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Huffman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Huffman connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands. Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huffman circles away quickly and effectively. Huffman misses with an uppercut. A shot to the liver by Huffman. Beautiful body shot. Jones swinging wildly here.
Brent Huffman seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Huffman is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Huffman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Huffman wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.
Jones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Huffman has managed to free his arm - good work. Huffman is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Huffman avoid being mounted? Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Huffman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Huffman defends the submission attempt. Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Huffman looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jones in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Huffman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maui drops Kato with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kato looks back up at him and smiles so Maui waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Mawunyo Kato has been cut. Maui will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maui gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Maui lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kato. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kato jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maui walks away with a smile on his face. Kato gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Maui rushes Kato and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kato is trying to pull guard but Maui has him pressed against the cage. Maui definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kato is trying to pull guard but Maui has him pressed against the cage. Tevita Maui has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mawunyo Kato. Kato fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Maui lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Maui lands a body punch. Kato looks winded! Maui manages to break the clinch.
OH! Kato has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Maui smells blood and charges in for the finish! Maui unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Kato sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Hall throws out a loose jab but Zapina uses good head movement to avoid it. Hall misses with a right hand and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. It looks like Richard Hall has been cut. A swing and a miss from Zapina. An attempted straight right counter from Hall misses the target. Hall throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hall tries for a takedown but Zapina circles away easily and Zapina counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zapina bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Zapina lands a head kick. Hall smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Hall is rocked! Zapina throws a half hearted mid kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hall moves away from the strike by Zapina. Hall takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Zapina throws a body kick that misses. Hall looks to land a right hand but Zapina moved out of range.

Hall throws a jab when Zapina was well out of range. Hall jabbing away but nothing is landing. A looping hook to the body misses from Hall. Zapina does a little dance to reset his feet. Zapina cracks Hall with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zapina has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hall to stand back up! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hall misses with a jab to the body

Zapina changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The fighters circle, before Zapina throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hall's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Zapina lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
