The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brlacher takes a swing at Barrett's ribcage but misses. Barrett drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Brlacher defends it well. We've been hearing reports that Brlacher has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Brlacher looks to clinch and Barrett counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brlacher won't be happy with that. Brlacher gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. That was a very nice submission by Brlacher.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dotson misses with a combination
and Zoerner counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dotson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Zoerner scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dotson is looking to get back to his feet here but Zoerner is keeping cool and he's managed to take Dotson's back. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zoerner staggers backwards, shaken. Zoerner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dotson manages to avoid it. Wayne Dotson is winning the standup battle so far. Dotson stuffs the takedown. No luck for Zoerner with that takedown attempt. Wayne Dotson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hubert Zoerner. Zoerner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dotson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Zoerner counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dotson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Zoerner is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Dotson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good work by Zoerner as he checks the leg kick. Zoerner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dotson wants to stand but Zoerner is controlling the position. Dotson is wriggling around but Zoerner manages to pass to half guard.
Dotson tries to kick Zoerner off but Zoerner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dotson is looking to get back to is feet but Zoerner passes into side control.
Zoerner remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Dotson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Zoerner takes a little break here. Dotson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
And that's the end of the fight! Wayne Dotson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dotson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Trippin stays standing though and waves Bhate back to his feet! Oh Bhate is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bhate stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Trippin. Trippin lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Bhate up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Trippin from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Bhate's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Friberg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sierrra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sierrra slips a straight right by Friberg. Sierrra uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Friberg. Sierrra tries to clinch up but Friberg circles away and keeps his distance. Friberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Sierrra is just out of range. Friberg lands a jab to the nose. Friberg has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Friberg stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Friberg throws an overhand right that lands on Sierrra's shoulder, as Sierrra tries to avoid the shot. Friberg scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sierrra in his tracks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Friberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sierrra. Friberg throws a shot to the body.
