These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sickwat Dan ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Jubei Akechi! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dan works Akechi's body with a nice hook. Dan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Akechi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dan walks away with a smile on his face. Akechi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Akechi on the wrong end of a nice hook. The fight stays on the outside here - Dan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Akechi throws out a counter right but Dan avoids it with no problem. Akechi takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sickwat Dan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dan misses with a double jab.
Dan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Akechi looks like he wants to counter punch here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dan , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camble misses with a wild body shot. Burger fails with the takedown. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Camble! But no joy. Burger misses with a double jab
and Camble counters with a thumping low kick. Camble displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burger. Camble throws a chopping leg kick but Burger manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Burger looks to score with a jab to the body but Camble is just out of range. Burger attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Burger doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Camble lands with a good body shot. Ritori fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Godwin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Godwin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ritori - the referee stops the clock and Godwin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ritori. Godwin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
