Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Luis De Teixiera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oleksandr Mykolenko! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Teixiera walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. De Teixiera moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mykolenko works the jab nicely. Mykolenko throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mykolenko throws a shot to the body.
De Teixiera ducks under a wild hook from Mykolenko. De Teixiera swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A head kick misses from De Teixiera. Mykolenko scores with a nice head shot. De Teixiera moves away from the strike by Mykolenko. De Teixiera sizes up Mykolenko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. It looks like Oleksandr Mykolenko has been cut. Mykolenko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Teixiera sees it coming and avoids it easily. Good standup being displayed there by De Teixiera as he connects with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Teixiera throws a half hearted mid kick. Mykolenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
De Teixiera pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. De Teixiera moves out of range of the strikes. Mykolenko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mykolenko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That has opened up Oleksandr Mykolenko's cut even more.

De Teixiera uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mykolenko. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mykolenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Teixiera moves out of range and avoids them all easily. De Teixiera pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mykolenko thows a leg kick but De Teixiera checks it and De Teixiera counters with a straight right hand. The cut above Oleksandr Mykolenko's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Mykolenko ducks under a wild hook from De Teixiera. A head kick misses from De Teixiera. De Teixiera definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mykolenko connects with a jab. Drogo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Vanderloo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vanderloo throws a hook to the side of Drogo's head but Drogo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vanderloo ducks under a wild hook from Drogo. Vanderloo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drogo manages to avoid it. Vanderloo thows a left - swing and a miss! Drogo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vanderloo misses with a straight left. Vanderloo looks to throw the jab but Drogo is out of range. Vanderloo looks to land a right hand but Drogo moved out of range. Vanderloo throws out a powerful jab. Vanderloo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Drogo. Vanderloo tries to move into range but Drogo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Vanderloo is rocked! Drogo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Drogo throws a lazy body kick letting Vanderloo counter with a right hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A nice leg kick from Drogo, right into the meat of the thigh.

Vanderloo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Drogo. Drogo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vanderloo.

A nice side step and Vanderloo releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Drogo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Vanderloo staggers Drogo with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Drogo looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue! Drogo connects with the punch. and Vanderloo counters with a good low kick that Drogo was not able to check. A big left from Drogo misses. Bob Drogo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Drogo lands a head kick that bluckles Vanderloo and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Drogo no doubt looking to push for a finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Drogo looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Naji's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Kezman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. You can see that Naji has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks Kezman swings and misses with a shot to the body and Naji counters with a lovely straight right hand!
