Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Orlando Whyte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Damien Edna and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura takes a jab right on the kisser.
Whyte uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nakamura. Whyte connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nakamura. Nakamura circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Whyte lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Whyte works the jab nicely. Nakamura shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Whyte changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Whyte dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nakamura tries to close the distance and clinch but Whyte swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Whyte is looking to counter the offense by Nakamura and move into the clinch. Nakamura slips under a jab. Nakamura takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Whyte throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nakamura counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Whyte tests Nakamura's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nakamura misses with an attempted mid kick.
Whyte lands with a shot to the body. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Whyte!
Orlando Whyte is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura tries to move into range but Whyte moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Whyte connects with a body shot. Whyte lands a body shot.
Whyte scores with a jab to the head.
Whyte lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nakamura at a distance.
Orlando Whyte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Whyte ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Whyte ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Whyte slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nice body punch from Whyte. A decent looking cross lands there for Whyte. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Whyte misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nakamura.
Nakamura's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Whyte connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nakamura scrambles back to his feet. Whyte lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Whyte scores with a jab.

Whyte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nakamura moves away. Nakamura looks to score with a jab to the body but Whyte is just out of range. Nakamura takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nakamura walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Whyte ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nakamura looks winded! Whyte lands with a straight right. Nakamura didn't see that one coming. Whyte scores with a jab to the head.
Nakamura is rocked! BOOM! Whyte lands a beautiful left hook that drops Nakamura. Nakamura tries to recover but Whyte is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Nakamura lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orlando Whyte! A relieved looking Orlando Whyte thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duhan Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ali Nurmagomedov! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Francis DeMontford and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim loads up on a big right hand but Nurmagomedov slips the punch. Nurmagomedov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Nurmagomedov doesn't manage to clinch there - Kim circles away.
Kim changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nurmagomedov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Nurmagomedov takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Nurmagomedov manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kim tries to get to full guard but Nurmagomedov has control of the leg. Nurmagomedov is looking to take a break and control but Kim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kim wants to control but Nurmagomedov is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kim wants to improve his position but Nurmagomedov is controlling well.
Nurmagomedov seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nurmagomedov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Nurmagomedov is just content to waste time from the top position. Kim takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Nurmagomedov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kim keeping moving, preventing Nurmagomedov from controlling successfully. Kim is trying to keep Nurmagomedov in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nurmagomedov won't allow Kim to sweep him here. Kim seems keen to control Nurmagomedov's posture. Nurmagomedov trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom. Kim wants to sweep here but Nurmagomedov controlling him for the moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Kim is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kim shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kim showed some decent athleticism there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kim is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nurmagomedov taking some punishment here, with Kim in his half guard. Nurmagomedov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kim is working away from the top position though. Nurmagomedov tries to get to full guard but Kim has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nurmagomedov trying to control but Kim postures up.
Kim throwing shots but Nurmagomedov is blocking nicely. Nice strikes from Kim there. Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kim lands strikes from half guard. Kim scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kim scoring with strikes to the body and head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nurmagomedov tries to get to full guard but Kim has control of the leg. Nurmagomedov looks winded! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kim connects with a nice short shot to Nurmagomedov's temple. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Duhan Kim dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Nurmagomedov staying out of range there. Nurmagomedov checks a low kick from Kim. Nurmagomedov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kim gets a double leg takedown into Nurmagomedov's guard. Nurmagomedov is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nurmagomedov's head. Nurmagomedov looking for a sweep. Not yet Nurmagomedov, not yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nurmagomedov can do anything to dispel that myth. Kim postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kim lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kim throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nurmagomedov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nurmagomedov has momentary wrist control but Kim slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kim trying to control but Nurmagomedov is working from the bottom. Kim engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Duhan Kim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kim content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kim postures up and lands a big shot to Nurmagomedov's brow. Nurmagomedov is rocked! Kim is fighting to break Nurmagomedov's control of his arms but Nurmagomedov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Nurmagomedov is still in real trouble! Can Kim finish him? Kim forces his way into half guard. Nurmagomedov seems to have recovered his senses. Nurmagomedov is breathing heavily. Kim scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nurmagomedov taking some punishment here, with Kim in his half guard. Ground and pound from Kim. Kim is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Nurmagomedov is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kim fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Nurmagomedov from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kim! Great finish!

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Moakes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Kampman! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kampman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. It looks like Aaron Kampman has been cut. Moakes throws a right hand that Kampman ducks under and follows up with a left that Kampman also avoids with ease. Moakes with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kampman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Moakes misses with the head strike.
Kampman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Moakes backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kampman. Moakes prevents a body shot from Kampman. I was talking to Moakes's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Kampman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Moakess head. The referee is keeping an eye on Kampman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kampman lands a hook to the side of the head. Kampman throws a punch but it's blocked by Moakes. A short right hand to the side of the head by Moakes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kampman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Moakes pulls him back up using the underhooks. Moakes throws a punch but it's blocked by Kampman. A bit of stalling here from Kampman.
Nice body punch from Moakes. Kampman lands on the inside with an uppercut. Moakes misses with a hook from the clinch. Moakes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kampman stalling in the clinch but Moakes improves position.

Kampman makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A body shot lands from Kampman.
Kampman is struggling to control the position. A short right from Moakes on the inside. Kampman lands an uppercut. A head punch on the inside from Moakes fails to land. Moakes misses with the head strike.
Moakes misses with a shot to the kidneys.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Moakes. Nice body punch from Kampman - that landed with a thud.
Moakes is breathing heavily. Kampman looking to slow down the pace here. Kampman is stalling here.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kampman. Kampman lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kampman creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Moakes with a big uppercut! Moakes tries to clinch up but Kampman pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Moakes to the mat! Moakes covers up and Kampman unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bautista fails with the takedown. Putgao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bautista. Putgao shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bautista but Bautista pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bautista drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Putgao wants to get back to his feet but Bautista is dominant here and he's now got Putgao's back! Bautista is not going to allow Putgao to sit and survive in this position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bautista lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Putgao.
Bautista is landing with strikes. Putgao can't take much more of this. This has been an exciting period of action! Putgao is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Bautista.
Bautista is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Putgao with him. Putgao is trying to defend but Bautista has an arm under the chin now! Putgao grimaces and is forced to tap out!
