6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, cheyenne ruffy! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ruffy stuffs the takedown. Miller tries to clinch there but ruffy circles away.
Horrible takedown by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by ruffy which made him look bad. ruffy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miller sprawls well initially but ruffy persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Miller is trying to get back to full guard. ruffy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time ruffy. Miller tries to get to full guard but ruffy has control of the leg. ruffy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Miller has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Miller! ruffy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miller defends it easily. Miller pushes down on ruffy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Miller is keen to just control but ruffy is a slippery customer. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Miller lands a nice short elbow. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Miller takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Miller trying to control from half guard but ruffy is working away. Miller is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for ruffy! Miller with shots to the head and body - ruffy looks very uncomfortable down there. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller struggling a bit here. ruffy tries for a kimura but Miller is defending well. Miller is trying to get back to half guard. Miller manages to work his way to half guard, despite ruffy's best efforts. ruffy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Miller wants to improve his position but ruffy is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. ruffy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Miller is now in ruffy's guard. A big mistake from ruffy there, giving up the dominant position! Miller wants to control from the top but ruffy keeps moving. ruffy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Miller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for ruffy. Miller is staying tight to ruffy's torso, preventing him from escaping. ruffy tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it.

Not really close to a finish though. ruffy tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it. You can see the frustration on ruffy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. ruffy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Miller's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ruffy is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard. Miller stands up and beckons ruffy to join him on the feet. Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
ruffy shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Miller has his takedown stuffed and ruffy counters with a nice double leg into guard. ruffy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Miller is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Miller has escaped and now he's on top! ruffy working for a triangle but Miller defends it easily.

Miller postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Miller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on ruffy, up you get! ruffy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miller regains half guard. Miller looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. ruffy is looking for a kimura here.

cheyenne ruffy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Oh, that's bad for Miller! ruffy looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Miller manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Miller throws an elbow but ruffy slips to the side and avoids it well. ruffy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Miller wants to control from the top but ruffy keeps moving. Shane Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Shane Miller wasn't doing enough on the ground. Miller fails with the takedown and ruffy counters with a single leg into guard. Miller didn't expect that. Miller being controlled here, momentarily. ruffy wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position. ruffy postures up.
ruffy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Miller manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now ruffy has Miller in his guard. ruffy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to cheyenne ruffy. Well ruffy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Curls gets off balance looking for a body kick and Pulver counters with a shoot takedown. Curls fights it but they end up in guard. Pulver drops back looking for a leg! Curls is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Curls manages to kick Pulver off! Pulver jumps back into Curls's guard. Curls controls Pulver momentarily but Pulver frees himself. Curls wants to sweep but no luck. Pulver wants to control from the top but Curls keeps moving. Pulver postures up.

We're going to have a standup here because Orin Niswender wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Calliente takes one to the chin there. Niswender looks to throw the jab but Calliente is out of range. A swing and a miss from Niswender. Calliente cracks Niswender with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Niswender keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Calliente fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Calliente takes one to the chin there. Jab by Niswender. Orin Niswender seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Niswender lunges at Calliente with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Calliente's hand. Calliente takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Calliente takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Calliente is rocked! Niswender wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Calliente is still on wobbly legs! Can Niswender finish him? Nice shot by Niswender. Niswender cracks Calliente with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Calliente tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Niswender pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Calliente is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Finan or perhaps it was just good defense by Richards which made him look bad. Finan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Richards. That one must have hurt. Finan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A good leg kick by Richards. Finan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Richards looks to land a left hand but Finan moved out of range nicely. Finan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Finan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Richards as he avoids it easily. Shane Richards has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Finan. Finan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Richards as he jumps to the side. Finan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Richards lands with a right hand. A punch lands to the side of Finan 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Finan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Finan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Richards is looking to reverse the position. Richards is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Finan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Richards rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Finan's guard! Finan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Richards circles away. Shane Richards has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Finan. Finan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Richards can pounce on him.
Richards connects with an inside leg kick. Tyrone Finan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Richards throws a head kick that Finan semi-blocks.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oyster throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lacey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oyster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lacey somewhat. Oyster doesn't manage to clinch there - Lacey circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Fontana misses its intended target. Fontana punishes Meeoff's body with a nice straight punch. Fontana closes the distance and clinches. Meeoff using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Fontana has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Meeoff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fontana walks away with a smile on his face. Meeoff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Meeoff changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fontana looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fontana tries to improve position but can't. Check out the look on Meeoff's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Meeoff thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fontana throws Meeoff to one side and escapes! Meeoff stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fontana is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fontana has escaped and now he's on top! Fontana seems to have got his legs back now. Meeoff bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fontana's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's better than Duke was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Duke prevents Spartacus from getting the reversal. Spartacus wants to try and get back to his feet. Spartacus sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
