1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Caloy Labayen! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Labayen missing with a left hand there. De Romi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. De Romi lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Labayen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Labayen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. De Romi swinging wildly here.

Caloy Labayen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Labayen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. De Romi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Labayen's head. Jose De Romi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. De Romi is looking to chop away at Labayen's legs. Labayen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as De Romi sprawls well. De Romi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Labayen gets slowly back to his feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakuragi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Vines wants to control but Sakuragi postures up. Vines sneaks back into half guard. Sakuragi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vines sees it coming and defends easily. That was a close round but I would say that Jacco Coco will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villar slaps away a takedown attempt from Gi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Villar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Villar is thwarting Gi's attempts to control the position. Gi is defending against the submission attempts here by Villar.
Villar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Gi trying to hold on to Villar's head to control him but Villar postures up.
Gi tries to get to full guard but Villar has control of the leg. Gi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Villar drops back looking for a leg! Gi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gi manages to kick Villar off! Villar jumps back into Gi's guard. Villar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Villar, into his guard. Villar is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Villar pulls Gi in close to his closed guard and prevents Gi from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gi thows a big elbow that misses. Gi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Villar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gi, into his guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Villar looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Villar drops back looking for a leg! Gi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gi manages to kick Villar off! Villar jumps back into Gi's guard. Gi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Villar defends well. Gi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Villar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Villar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Villar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Villar is looking to defend but Gi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Villar! Gi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Villar taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter moves away from the strike by Junior. Carter avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Carter slips under a jab. Carter shoots in for a takedown but Junior shows good takedown defense. Carter tries for a takedown but Junior sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Junior lands a big shot that drops Carter! Can he finish him?

Carter is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Junior is surviving well by controlling Carter's body position as best he can. Junior really wants to buck Carter off and get back to his feet. Junior wants to control but Carter is having none of it. Junior really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Carter goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Junior is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Carter keeping moving, preventing Junior from controlling successfully. Carter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Junior. Carter has a closed guard, preventing Junior from standing up. Carter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Junior defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vadik Junior dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rick Carter's cut. That's time! Carter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Junior misses the target. Carter shoots in looking for a takedown. Junior tries to sprawl out of it but Carter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junior manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Carter goes down! Can Junior finish him!?

Carter, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Junior!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaegerjaquez stuffs the takedown. Wrestler tries to keep at a distance but Jaegerjaquez has taken the fight into the clinch. Jaegerjaquez scores with a nice hook to the head. Wrestler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jaegerjaquez walks away with a smile on his face. Wrestler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jaegerjaquez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Jaegerjaquez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jaegerjaquez manages to kick Wrestler off! Wrestler jumps back into Jaegerjaquez's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wrestler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wrestler looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jaegerjaquez scores with a sloppy right hand. Wrestler should have avoided that one.
Amazing Wrestler's cut is getting worse. Jaegerjaquez throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Wrestler is rocked! Jaegerjaquez pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jaegerjaquez rushes Wrestler with punches - Wrestler moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Wrestler goes down! Jaegerjaquez follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kain thowing shots but they're missing. Kain is looking to stand but Kain has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Kain is looking to take a break and control but Rua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kain trying to control but Rua is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nice sprawl there from Rua as Kain shoots in. Kain keeps the fight on the outside. Kain lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Rua tries for a takedown but Kain circles away easily and Kain counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rua misses with a takedown attempt and Kain counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rua's knee momentarily. Kain feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rua's calf. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Kain dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Rua drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kain dives on top into guard. Kain has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rua is proving hard to escape from. Kain thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rua is on top in guard.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Kain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
