Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tony Cornell (ranked 3290 p4p, 295 weight class) and Sigi Pesalelei (ranked 22655 p4p, 490 weight class). Sigi Pesalelei is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Cornell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sigi Pesalelei! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cornell scores with a leg kick.
Cornell dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cornell digs a good hook to Pesalelei's body.
Cornell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pesalelei.
Cornell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Pesalelei tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Cornell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cornell thows a left - swing and a miss! Cornell throws a body kick that misses. Pesalelei dodges the punch combination from Cornell.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Cornell. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A low kick from Cornell is predictable there and Pesalelei connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Cornell just misses with a punch to the body.
Pesalelei throws out a counter right but Cornell avoids it with no problem. Cornell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pesalelei.
It appears Cornell was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pesalelei lands with a kick to the temple. Cornell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Pesalelei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cornell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cornell throws a right hand that misses
and Pesalelei counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Pesalelei fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cornell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Pesalelei takes a swing at Cornell's ribcage but misses. Cornell throws a right and a left that both miss. Pesalelei slips a straight right by Cornell. Pesalelei tries a quick counter leg kick but Cornell is wise to it. Cornell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pesalelei moves out of range of the body kick. Cornell looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cornell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Sigi Pesalelei has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cornell pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Pesalelei looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pesalelei fails in his attempt to clinch. Tony Cornell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Pesalelei. Cornell does a little dance to reset his feet. Pesalelei looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pesalelei bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Pesalelei tries to clinch there but Cornell circles away.

Pesalelei appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Cornell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pesalelei moves away. Cornell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pesalelei counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cornell tries to bum rush Pesalelei with a series of wild strikes but Pesalelei uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A telegraphed right hand from Cornell misses the target. Pesalelei throws out a counter right but Cornell avoids it with no problem. Cornell tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Pesalelei misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cornell.

The fighters circle momentarily. Cornell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Cornell dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sigi Pesalelei's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Cornell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pesalelei throws a lazy right hand but Cornell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Cornell cracks Pesalelei with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Cornell lands a leg kick that knocks Pesalelei off balance momentarily. Pesalelei misses with a left hand and Cornell makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Pesalelei misses with a hook
and Cornell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Cornell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Pesalelei scores with a punch to the head. Tony Cornell is winning the standup battle so far. Cornell lands a head kick that bluckles Pesalelei and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Cornell no doubt looking to push for a finish! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cornell thows a leg kick but Pesalelei checks it and Pesalelei counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Cornell throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Pesalelei is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the ropes! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tony Cornell! A victorious Tony Cornell thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. In defeat, Sigi Pesalelei stepped up to the mic, saying 'im sorry to all my fans i let down.'.
