Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Military Industrial Complex (ranked 1642 p4p, 185 weight class) and Bastyn Dall (ranked 2555 p4p, 260 weight class). Complex comes to the cage accompanied by Rusty Cage - Johnny Cash. Dall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bride - Beast. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Complex looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dall checks a leg kick nicely.
The crowd cheers as Complex lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dall doesn't seem phased though.
Complex blocks a head kick by Dall.
A telegraphed right hand from Dall misses the target.
Dall throws a looping overhand right but Complex ducks down to avoid it.
Complex lands with a shot to the body.
An inside leg kick from Complex misses.
Dall throws a leg kick that misses.
Dall takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Dall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Complex scores with a decent looking hook.
Complex looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dall tries to clinch but Complex moves out of range.

Dall looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Complex jabs Dall to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dall throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Complex's head.
Complex lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Complex jabs Dall right on the nose. Dall blinks but takes it well.
Dall throws a hook to the side of Complex's head but Complex sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Complex cracks Dall with an open hand slap.
Dall throws a leg kick but Complex moved away.
Complex just misses with a punch to the body.
Dall takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Complex, as that shot connected.
Dall misses with a two punch combination.
Complex closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Complex slips under a jab from Dall.
Dall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Complex swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice cross by Dall.
Dall just misses with a punch to the body.
Complex digs a good body shot into Dall's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Dall counters with a nice uppercut.
Complex throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Dall's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dall duly obliges.
Dall throws a looping overhand right but Complex ducks down to avoid it.
Complex takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Complex is looking to wear down Dall with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Nice takedown defense from Dall. No joy for Complex on that attempt.
Dall loads up on a big right hand but Complex slips the punch.
Dall takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dall clinches up with Complex and pushes him back against the cage.
Dall misses with a hook from the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dall.

Dall throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dall throws a nice looking combination but Complex bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dall fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Complex checks it well.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Complex.
Dall is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Complex's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Dall wants to sweep here but Complex controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dall is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Complex to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Complex shrugs it off.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bastyn Dall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Dall shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Complex as he avoids it easily.

Complex takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Complex fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dall fails to land the takedown.
Military Industrial Complex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bastyn Dall.
Dall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Complex tries to avoid it but Dall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Complex to the ground. Complex escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Complex throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dall tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Complex is in Dall's guard.

Complex's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Complex connects with a nice short shot to Dall's temple.
