The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Petchboonchu Aumkatongchiangmai has been cut.
Palmer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Palmer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Aumkatongchiangmai seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Aumkatongchiangmai is looking to clinch.
Aumkatongchiangmai tries to clinch up but Palmer circles away and keeps his distance.
Aumkatongchiangmai avoids a punch combination nicely.
Palmer lands with a right hand.
Palmer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Palmer.
Palmer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Palmer breaks the clinch.
Palmer throws a sloppy head kick and Aumkatongchiangmai moves out of range easily.
Palmer tries a head kick but it misses.

Palmer throws a series of punches but Aumkatongchiangmai moves out of range.
Palmer stalks Aumkatongchiangmai and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aumkatongchiangmai's face. Aumkatongchiangmai staggers backwards, shaken.
Aumkatongchiangmai throws a head kick that misses.
A punch combination from Palmer misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Palmer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aumkatongchiangmai appears to be looking for a big counter.

Aumkatongchiangmai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Palmer, pushing him back against the cage.

Aumkatongchiangmai breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aumkatongchiangmai scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Aumkatongchiangmai sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Palmer to the ground! Aumkatongchiangmai dives into full mount looking to finish!

Palmer is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aumkatongchiangmai stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Palmer is still on wobbly legs! Can Aumkatongchiangmai finish him?

Aumkatongchiangmai closes the distance and pushes Palmer back into the cage.

Aumkatongchiangmai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Aumkatongchiangmai throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Palmer is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
