Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Hardcastle (ranked 4311 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Aldridge (ranked 4357 p4p, 364 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldridge looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No luck for Hardcastle with that takedown attempt.
Hardcastle is looking to clinch but Aldridge is avoiding it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Aldridge! But no joy.
Hardcastle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hardcastle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aldridge paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Hardcastle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardcastle wants to clinch up but Aldridge keeps it at a distance.
Hardcastle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aldridge circles away quickly and effectively.
Hardcastle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Aldridge changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and Aldridge lands a stunning uppercut that sends Hardcastle to the mat!
It looks like Hunter Hardcastle has been cut.

Aldridge won't allow Hardcastle to sweep him here.
Hardcastle is looking for a triangle but Aldridge pushes his legs off easily.

and Aldridge counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardcastle is breathing heavily.

Hardcastle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hardcastle dives in for a single leg takedown but Aldridge sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hardcastle displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aldridge.
Hardcastle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Aldridge misses with an uppercut. Hardcastle saw that one coming.
Aldridge slaps away a takedown attempt from Hardcastle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hardcastle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Aldridge is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Hardcastle tries to sprawl but Aldridge drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Hunter Hardcastle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Aldridge throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hardcastle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Aldridge jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hardcastle throws a body shot but no joy.
Hardcastle shoots for a takedown but Aldridge saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hardcastle wants to clinch but Aldridge slips to the side
and Aldridge counters with a stiff right hand.
Aldridge cracks Hardcastle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Aldridge has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Some bone on bone action there as Hardcastle checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hunter Hardcastle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aldridge keeps the fight on the outside.
Hardcastle shoots in but Aldridge avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Aldridge wants to counter with a clinch but Hardcastle pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aldridge cracks Hardcastle with an uppercut from hell and Hardcastle crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Aldridge's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Hardcastle is rocked!
Aldridge's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Oh Hardcastle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hardcastle pushes Aldridge off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Hardcastle seems to have got his legs back now.
Hardcastle tries to get into range but Aldridge steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Hardcastle! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Aldridge scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marcus Aldridge!
Marcus Aldridge bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
