Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evil Dead (ranked 2197 p4p, 283 weight class) and Daday Dadaeff (ranked 2022 p4p, 262 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead misses the shot to the body.
It seemed like Dadaeff was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dadaeff just misses with a punch to the body.
Dead lands with a straight right. Dadaeff didn't see that one coming.
Dead chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dead throws out a leg kick but Dadaeff moves out of range and Dead only half commits.
Dead moves in looking to clinch but Dadaeff pushes him off.
Dadaeff appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Dead swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Dead moves into the clinch successfully.
A short body shot lands from Dead as the two fighters clinch.
Dead tries a body shot but Dadaeff blocks it.
Dead misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Dead fails to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dadaeff escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dadaeff lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dadaeff.
Dead feints and then cracks Dadaeff's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dadaeff down.
Dadaeff takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Evil Dead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dadaeff gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dead.
Dead changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
It looks like Dead has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Dead is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Dadaeff blocks a jab.
Dead shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dadaeff eats them both and turns towards Dead to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dadaeff throws a body punch but Dead moves out of range.
Dadaeff looks to land a combination but Dead avoids it well.

Dead fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dadaeff swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Dadaeff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dead throws a lazy right hand but Dadaeff sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Dead engages and cracks Dadaeff with a massive lead left hook - Dadaeff tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Dead is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Evil Dead decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
