Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Rossi (ranked 414 p4p, 60 weight class) and Emilio Aguinaldo (ranked 2309 p4p, 287 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Aguinaldo's choice of entrance music: Noypi by Bamboo. Mario Rossi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mario Rossi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Emilio Aguinaldo! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aguinaldo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rossi lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Aguinaldo prevents a body shot from Rossi. Rossi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Aguinaldo misses with a short punch on the inside. Rossi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rossi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rossi throws a good cross that connects.
Aguinaldo throws a hook but Rossi blocks it. As Aguinaldo looks to move away, Rossi throws a big counter combo but Aguinaldo just gets out of the way. Rossi looks to land a combination but Aguinaldo avoids it well. Rossi misses with a kick to the body.
Rossi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Aguinaldo. Aguinaldo moves away from the strike by Rossi. Rossi needs to keep his hands up - Aguinaldo had a free shot at his head there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aguinaldo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Rossi connects with a right hand. Aguinaldo shakes it off. Aguinaldo misses with a body shot
and Rossi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Aguinaldo is rocked! Aguinaldo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rossi counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Aguinaldo is still on wobbly legs! Can Rossi finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Rossi closes the distance and clinches. A short right from Rossi. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rossi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Rossi pushes Aguinaldo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Rossi scores with a nice hook to the head. Rossi breaks from the clinch.
Aguinaldo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Whack! Rossi lands a heavy head kick that drops Aguinaldo. The ref tackles Rossi to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Aguinaldo was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Mario Rossi! Mario Rossi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. In defeat, Emilio Aguinaldo stepped up to the mic, saying 'A man can be destroyed but not defeated... I will pickup the pieces that I learned today and will grow from it.'.
