Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Barbaro (ranked 3408 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armie Aiden (ranked 4796 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Aiden is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Barbaro is controlling him well.

Barbaro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aiden stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Aiden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barbaro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Aiden is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barbaro is aware though and is defending well.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barbaro has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barbaro and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
