Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugh Jackmen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dom Walsh!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jackmen counters with a three punch combo that has Walsh backing up. Walsh nods at Jackmen to acknowledge the strikes.
Jackmen tries to sprawl but Walsh drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Walsh.
Walsh working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Walsh working over Jackmen with some ground and pound. Jackmen looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jackmen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Walsh stands up and beckons Jackmen to join him on the feet.
Walsh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Walsh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackmen sprawls well initially but Walsh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackmen is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walsh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackmen's head.
Walsh drops an elbow to the side of Jackmen's head.
Walsh working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Jackmen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Jackmen has hold of Walsh's hands but Walsh slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jackmen is rocked!
Walsh takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Oh Jackmen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walsh is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jackmen is hurt! He's hurt bad - Walsh fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jackmen from any more punishment! Congratulations to Walsh! Great finish!
