Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Smith (ranked 934 p4p, 120 weight class) and No Way (ranked 1674 p4p, 201 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith works Way's body with a nice hook.
Way throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smith changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Way moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Way avoids the body shot from Smith.
Way misses with a straight right.
Way jabs at Smith's body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick.
We've been told by Smith's head coaches at UnderGround BJJ & MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Way's temple.

Smith keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Way's head.

Way is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smith is controlling him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Way throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Way as he avoids it easily.
Way looks to clinch
and Smith counters with a takedown into side control.
Smith throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Smith is looking to take a break and control but Way is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Smith postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Smith is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Way's shoulder. That is not cool.
James Smith overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Smith wants to control but Way is keeping him busy.

Way regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Smith.

Way avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Smith.

Smith lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Way down.

Smith connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Way some visible discomfort.
Smith scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Way is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Smith can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
