Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Willis (ranked 4917 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Nox (ranked 5456 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Willis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Igor Nox! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willis gets in close and instigates a clinch. Willis is trying to drag Nox to the mat but Nox just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Willis scores with a hook to the body. Willis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Willis with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Nox's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willis gets in close and instigates a clinch. Willis has Nox pushed against the cage. Willis can't break the clinch.
Willis pulls Nox into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nox drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Willis dives on top into guard. Nox is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Willis is controlling him. Willis passes Nox's left leg - he's now in half guard. Nox looks winded! Willis stalling. Willis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Willis stops Nox from getting back to his feet.
Willis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Willis lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Willis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nox for as long as he can get away with. Nox is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Nox has managed to clinch.
Willis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nox is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Willis tries a body shot but Nox blocks it.
Nox swings wildly with an uppercut but Willis uses good head movement to avoid it. Nox wants to break the clinch but can't.
Nox doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Willis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nox working hard to break the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nox misses with a punch on the inside.
Nox looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Nox looking to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Willis dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Willis is looking for a takedown. Nox is trying to maintain a safe position but Willis gets an underhook and turns Nox into the cage. Nox fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nox. Nox looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Nox is looking to take this one to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nox misses with a hook from the clinch. Nox is breathing heavily. Willis is trying to trip Nox. He has hold of a leg but Nox is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Willis persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Nox is working an open guard so Willis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Nox swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Willis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Willis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis jumps guard and drags Nox to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Willis is on top in guard.
Willis won't allow Nox to get back to his feet. Willis's corner is telling him to maintain position. Willis passes into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Willis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Willis moves into full mount! Nox won't be happy about that! Willis working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nox stops Willis from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Willis controlling the position easily from mount. Willis moves to the back. Willis is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis tightening his grip on Nox, looking for the choke. Nox is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Willis continues to stall. Willis has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Nox is defending well but eventually Willis manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Nox has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John Willis!
