The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Taylor is fending him off so far but Scott persists. Nope, Taylor circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Taylor as Scott shoots in.

Taylor has managed to clinch.

Taylor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Taylor rushes Scott and presses him up against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Scott takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Taylor closes the distance and clinches.

Taylor pulls Scott into guard.

Scott is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Taylor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Taylor has escaped and now he's on top!
Taylor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Taylor lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Taylor is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Taylor postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Taylor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Scott escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Taylor around the waist but Taylor pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Taylor is the winner by TKO! Taylor jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
