Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juares Dea (ranked 5225 p4p, 540 weight class) and Robert Chaos (ranked 6600 p4p, 614 weight class). The key to victory for Juares Dea has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juares Dea!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Chaos !
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dea tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chaos paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dea closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dea lands in his opponent's guard.

Dea decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chaos , up you get!
Dea lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Chaos backs up against the cage.

Dea jumps guard and drags Chaos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Chaos drops back looking for a leg! Dea is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dea manages to kick Chaos off! Chaos jumps back into Dea's guard.
Dea definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Dea uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dea fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chaos enables Dea to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chaos manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Chaos throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dea uses it to pass to side control.

Chaos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dea defends it easily.

Chaos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dea can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chaos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dea doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dea manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Chaos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dea gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chaos can do anything to dispel that myth.
