Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Brown (ranked 4208 p4p, 405 weight class) and Bernard Sunday (ranked 5973 p4p, 478 weight class). Bernard Sunday will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunday pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brown attempts a counter takedown but Sunday avoids it well and moves away.
Sunday looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sunday for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
