Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Barbaro (ranked 2023 p4p, 253 weight class) and Winston Todd (ranked 2549 p4p, 319 weight class). Todd has chosen Piano Man as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Barbaro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Winston Todd!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbaro throws a nice looking combination but Todd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Todd doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Barbaro tries to clinch but Todd is having none of it.
Barbaro takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Barbaro doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Todd paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Todd with a nice cross.
Barbaro fails with the takedown
and Todd counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barbaro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Barbaro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Todd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barbaro somewhat.
Todd only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Barbaro blocks the body kick.
Barbaro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Todd lands a head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barbaro throws the kick towards the body but Todd avoids it.
Barbaro misses with a body kick.
Barbaro chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Todd can pounce on him.
Todd scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Barbaro doesn't seem bothered though.
Barbaro has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Todd.
Todd lands a lovely overhand right.
Barbaro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Todd connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Barbaro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice leg kick from Todd, right into the meat of the thigh.
Barbaro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Todd paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Todd swats away the attempt to clinch by Barbaro.
Todd lands a body shot.

Barbaro goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Winston Todd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barbaro dives in for a single leg takedown but Todd sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barbaro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Todd blocks a head kick by Barbaro.
Barbaro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Donk. Todd catches Barbaro right on the button with a cross.
Barbaro is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Todd lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Barbaro takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Todd lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Todd scores with a hook.
Todd jabs Barbaro right on the nose. Barbaro blinks but takes it well.
Barbaro is rocked!
Todd blocks a head kick by Barbaro.

Todd drops Barbaro with a naaaaasty hook - Barbaro is in real trouble here! Todd dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Winston Todd decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
