The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahonen throws a jab but it's blocked by Mason.
Ahonen misses with a head kick.

Ahonen dives in and scores a takedown into Mason's guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Ahonen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Mason shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ahonen but Ahonen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Manu Ahonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bea Mason.

Ahonen cracks Mason on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mason falls backwards against the cage. Ahonen follows up with more strikes that drop Mason to his knees. Ahonen keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mason! This one is all over!
