Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm King (ranked 3581 p4p, 439 weight class) and Howard Zynne (ranked 3865 p4p, 464 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zynne.
Zynne uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before King has time to react.
Zynne is looking to land body kicks.
King looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
King looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
King connects with an inside leg kick.
Nice body kick from King.
Zynne throws a body kick that misses.
Zynne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zynne pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
King lands with a thumping leg kick.
A nice leg kick from Zynne, right into the meat of the thigh.
King feints and then cracks Zynne's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zynne down.
King lands a nice shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zynne connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.

and King counters with a low kick, right behind Zynne 's knee.
Zynne tries a head kick but it misses.
King feinted there with a counter leg kick.
King avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
King was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
King lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Zynne at a distance.
Zynne looks winded!
King is looking to slow Zynne down with leg kicks.

Zynne throws a lazy head kick
and King counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Zynne rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and King counters with a nice leg kick.
King feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zynnes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zynne takes a body punch but keeps moving.
King buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
King scores with a leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from King.
Zynne takes one to the side of the head.
Zynne looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
Zynne takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Zynne is rocked!
King drops Zynne with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Zynne! King dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
