Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Heening (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Blirup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Heening! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Blirup! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heening bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Blirup tries to bench press Heening off him but Heening keeps the position. Heening working away. Heening decides to stand up, so the ref orders Blirup to his feet. Blirup closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Heening to the mat! Heening manages to get full guard. Heening is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Heening keeping full guard, as Blirup tries to pass. Heening looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blirup is one step ahead there. Heening is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Blirup drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blirup jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blirup avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Blirup won't allow Heening to sweep him here. Blirup sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Heening's guard. Heening wants to control but Blirup is keeping busy.
Blirup winds up and cracks Heening with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Blirup passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Heening! Heening is breathing heavily. Blirup seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Heening is holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heening tries to hold on but Blirup postures up. Heening takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Blirup landing shots from mount. Blirup tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Heening has given up his back here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Heening fending off the submission attempt from Blirup. Blirup has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Heening is trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blirup is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Heening has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Blirup trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Heening might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Blirup looking for a sweep. Not yet Blirup, not yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Heening trying to control the position from guard on top but Blirup is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Blirup dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Blirup tries to close the distance and clinch but Heening swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Heening throws a sloppy head kick and Blirup moves out of range easily. Heening has Blirup up against the cage in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heening wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Heening looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Heening. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blirup's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Blirup has managed to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Blirup feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Blirup wants to control from the top but Heening keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heening strikes from his own guard. Blirup won't allow Heening to sweep him here. Heening is looking to stand up but Blirup isn't so interested in that idea. Blirup tries to stand but Heening is controlling from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Blirup with a lazy takedown attempt and Heening counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Heening. Heening avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Blirup is looking to reverse the position. Blirup can't do much from the bottom here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Heening tries for a takedown but Blirup circles away easily and Blirup counters with a takedown into side control. Blirup is looking to take a break and control but Heening is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Blirup scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Heening to see if he's OK. Heening is not content to let Blirup control the position. Heening is trying to control Blirup's posture but Blirup avoids it. Martin Blirup has got the better of the ground game so far. Heening is not content to let Blirup control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Blirup showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nice work! Heening looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Heening wants to stand up but Blirup is controlling him. Blirup wants to control from the top but Heening keeps moving. Blirup might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Heening kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Blirup gets to his feet - Heening follows without any prompting. Heening with a lazy takedown attempt and Blirup counters with a series of strikes. Heening will be more careful next time no doubt. Heening decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Heening lands with a punch from half guard. Blirup wants to control but Heening is keeping busy and won't allow it. Blirup is not content to let Heening control the position. Blirup trying to control here.

Heening seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blirup does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Blirup regains full guard. Nicely done. Heening could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Heening trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blirup's guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Blirup is looking to clinch. Heening closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Heening lands in his opponent's guard. Blirup controls Heening momentarily but Heening frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blirup has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Heening can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Heening is working Blirup over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Blirup not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Heening's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Blirup is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Blirup is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Heening moves into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Heening is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Blirup slips nicely into half guard. Blirup trying to control from half guard but Heening is working away. Blirup is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Heening doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blirup. Blirup lands strikes from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Heening showed his dominance in that final round. Well Blirup has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
