Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Hartier (ranked 5055 p4p, 3110 weight class) and Andrey Ershov (ranked 565 p4p, 394 weight class). Hartier comes to the cage accompanied by IAM - Un bon son brut pour les truands. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Hartier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrey Ershov! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking cross lands there for Hartier. Ershov shoots in but Hartier avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hartier scores with a head kick. Ershov tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Hartier throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ershov. Ershov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hartier napping and manages to drive through into side control! Ershov connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hartier some visible discomfort.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ershov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hartier, who protects the arm well. Hartier is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Ershov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Ershov scores with a couple of short elbows. Ershov is looking to take a break and control but Hartier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ershov in side control lands a decent elbow. Hartier wants to get back to his feet but Ershov drags him back down. Ershov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ershov in side control, throwing shots but Hartier defends. Hartier wants to get back to his feet. Ershov lands some shots froms side control. Hartier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ershov on the ground. Hartier pushes Ershov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ershov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ershov working the ground and pound from side control. Ershov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ershov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ershov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ershov passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hartier! Ershov raining down shots from the mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ershov connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ershov lands a heavy elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hartier is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Ershov lands a big shot to the head and Hartier winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
